Credit Classes

Credit classes for online, traditional, and dual enrollment students will be a continual work in progress dependent upon the student and business requests. Credit classes, a primary focus of the Jasper County Learning Center, will actively work to meet the educational needs of Jasper County.

| Both the M3 and CRC are available at JCJC and the Jasper County Learning Center and are funded by the U. S. Department of Labor under the WIRED Initiative.

Credentialing
• Pre-employment assessments, such as the Career Readiness Certificate or CRC show
prospective employers that an individual possesses skills needed in the workplace.
The CRC focuses on these areas:
1. Reading for information
2. Applied mathematics
3. Locating information
• The Modern Multi-skilled Manufacturing (M3) Credential provides a series of
training modules designed to gain knowledge and skills in basic manufacturing
production. The participant completes online learning modules and upon completion
of the training engages in hands-on skill assessments.

Jones County Junior College is an open-door, two-year institution granting Associate in Arts degrees, Associate in Applied Science degrees, and Vocational Certificates; its purpose is to provide programs and support services consistent with the ideals of a democratic society to meet the educational needs of students and communities in the Jones County Junior College
