JASPER COUNTY VISION STATEMENT: "Our vision for Jasper County is to create a unified community striving to provide adequate employment, productive workforce and a high quality of life for all Jasper County Citizens."

The Jasper County Economic Development District serves as a voice for the county's economic development needs.  Through collaboration with other local, state and national entities, JCEDD is a liaison for industry and business. Along with the staff at Mid- Mississippi Development District, we offer information and help to secure incentives and other needs that business and industry require to make a strong beginning. . We serve the county community and industries who are seeking a convenient  and profitable location. We help existing business and industry to achieve their potential. We seek to improve the county's economy and quality of life through development of resources.

The Board of Directors is made up of two appointed members from each Supervisor District and each Municipality. The board meets to take care of its business on the second Tuesday of each month.

Jasper County Economic Development District and the Board of Supervisors manage a revolving loan fund that has helped existing industries expand and new industry locate in Jasper County. Since the startup in 1985 it has made loans to some 16 different industrial projects to add to the development of jobs for Jasper County.
